Bearwood will sink Cashcroft, and Chameleon with it.

Hague acted as his guarantor after a fashion and was duped. Howard said we’ll have the money, and Cashcroft decided to apply some of it locally rather than through CCHQ.

Chameleon said “Tickle my tummy” and thus it was.

He is really more identified with the conspiracy – a criminal one imho – than Hague.

He refused to ask about Cashcroft’s tax etc status AND about Bearwood. It was His duty to ask if Bearwood was trading adequately, Duty of Care to his party.

FAILED.

Decent Tories will note, and take appropriate action May 7th.

Silly Tom Harris and his Silly Simon

Tom Harris didn’t permit this response to one of his Tory posters, with whom he has been comfortable for so long:

Silly Simon: I addressed the hypocrisy of The Times and history thereof, and also the need for collective action. I’m bored with referring the ignorant to an excellent paper re UK debt. You don’t want to know, admit it.

Lord Paul’s views disinterest me, rich businessmen are good at accumulating, few have made the transition to successfully running a Government department, or collective decision making in the economic sphere. They Do tend to act in THEIR interests.

David Chameleon receives public money as Leader of HM Loyal (LOL!) Opposition. Anyone going to check how his transport costs are paid and from which pot?

Oh, and an amusing point, he was caught claiming for several chocolate style bars for his party political staff. His recent conversion to Guinness hides how irredeemably naff he is.

 

Tory Media helps Chameleon slither free!

Divers Tory trolls and servants of the billionaire media’s interests have poured scorn on Labour’s treatment of the 3 MPs now charged with various criminal acts in connection with their expenses.

Actions were taken when these matters were referred to the CPS and later, after appropriate consultation, when it was announced that they were to be charged.

Contrast with the Tory inactions:

Chameleon didn’t take any action anyone has told us when Baron Hanningfield and other tories were referred to the CPS.

The noble Baron was left in charge of Essex County Council – a position of considerable power and influence – and on his front bench.

Brown did not pretend to the droit de seigneur Chameleon did when charges were announced, and, according to Hanningfield’s Wiki entry, he went, he Was Not Sacked by the poseur Chameleon.

Not the first time the media has made out that Chameleon has acted decisively when in truth he was sacking someone who had already gone.

Chameleon not only left Hanningfield in post for those long months (Brown would clearly have sacked any of the labour 3 had they been Ministers) but he also continued as Leader of Essex County Council, and so, while his reputation was so questioned, his Tory career in power continued.

Truly a scandal, and typically misrepresented by less than straightforward tory media tactics.

Just as Chameleon recently announced his intention to crack down on lobbyists immediately after questions arose re the booking of Parliamentary Banqueting facilities on behalf of one of his constituents, who appears to as an agent for various dental and similar interests.

But that is another story. . .

 

Cashcroft censorship.

Ashcroft has perverted the course of British politics by his attempts to buy it. These are in no way reflected by Lord Paul’s donations as some Tory Trolls suggest.

How much has his foreign based company paid over to your local Tories? No wonder that, even if he was technically within the law, he is under investigation for breaches of the spirit of the law.

He has a share in Sir Iain Dale’s publishing company (as Sir Iain has admitted). He has bought a supposedly neutral blog from which the Labour bloggers decided wisely to remove themselves.

When he offered large sums to the Michael Howard Cons Party his suggestion that he would spend it for them was turned down. The David Cameron version, however, has allowed him more space at CCHQ than Chameleon has himself.

Bear in mind that he is the largest ever party political donor in Australia’s history; lent hundreds of thousands of pounds to the Turks & Caicos PM; and is reviled in Belieze for his political financing there.

Slease on 3 continents!

It seems to many of us that he has tried to buy our next Parliamentary Election.

Some may be right that his influence on the ground via newsletters is small, but I have read evidence to the contrary.

It is claimed that the swing to the tories in the marginal constituencies in which his money has been concentrated has led to far larger swings than elsewhere. Tories boast of it.

Of course it will be somewhat minimised when people decide they do not want to be gulled by billionaires, as The Sun is finding out.

Britons must fight to be free of his influence.

He is a big factor in the class war the tories have launched on the rest of us.

While we need to field Labour’s record, we must ensure the Tories’ Class war on Labour and Britain are not ignored.

 

Class war censorship?

Sunny on Liberal Conspiracy is entitled to his view on Labour’s prospects which I do not share. We should win the 2010 election.

It is entirely legitimate to point out that Chameleon/Osborne’s commitments are to policies intended to further the interests of multi millionaires like themselves and the billionaires who bankroll their party and the tory media which have promoted them, usually so successfully.

Notable however that since The Sun backed them, attacking Brown like one of the most swivel eyed Tory Trolls of 2 years ago when they were most desperate, it has lost 300,000 circulation.

It is also relevant to point out that British society is still class based and that plutocracy (at least 19 of the Shadow front bench are millionaires) is not a good system of government.

A tiny part of Labour’s case AGAINST the Conservative Party, just as most of us object to fox & stag hunting with hounds is a tiny part of what we have to say.

Notable that, because hunting with dogs is unpopular, while any mention of class seems to awake worries in many of the electorate, the latter catches the eyes of the tory press more than the former.

The real case is FOR Labour, and Labour politicians should be spending more time putting it over, and less undermining those who rightly believe that class is part of the root of the current Conservative leader’s intentions.

Gordon Brown’s joke about the Tory policy on IHT (Death Duties) being formed on the playing fields of Eton was a good one because it is half true.

Chameleon and Osborne are due to inherit millions from parents who sent them to public schools. Likely they learned the Bullingdon culture in their nurseries.
